What each plan includes
BenchyOps has three plans. In My Subscription you see them with these names:
| What it includes | Hobby | Workshop | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| Active printers | 1 | Up to 5 | Up to 15 |
| Saved quotes per month | 10 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| People in the account | 1 | 3 | 10 |
| Active filaments | 10 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Customers | 20 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Products in the catalog | 10 | 100 | Unlimited |
| File storage | 20 MB | 500 MB | 2 GB |
| Finances | No | Yes | Yes |
| Online store | No | No | Yes |
| Sales channels and shipping | No | No | Yes |
| Store appearance | No | No | Yes |
| PDF with your template, color and texts | No | No | Yes |
| BenchyOps branding on the PDF | Small "Made with BenchyOps" | No | No |
| "Powered by BenchyOps" on the link | Yes | Yes | No |
If you have more than 15 printers, we build a custom plan: write to us.
Saved quotes per month are the ones you save with a customer; internal ones do not count. The counter starts at zero every month and, from the 8th, the quoter tells you how many you have left. You can always see the price and send it on WhatsApp, and during the free trial there is no cap. Printers can be paused: they keep their history and are not used for quoting or planning. If you have more active than the plan allows (for example, when the trial ends), the first ones you added are used; pause the ones you do not use to choose which stay, and moving up a plan brings them all back on their own.
How limits count
Limits count what is in use: archived or trashed items take no slot. The system customer Consumidor final does not count as a plan customer either.
Every plan shares G-code quoting, the production board, stock, maintenance, payment recording and the link to accept quotes.
The free trial
When you sign up, the account starts with the full Pro plan on a free trial, no card needed. By default the trial lasts 14 days; signup shows you the exact days.
The trial gives you the limits and features of the Pro plan (store, finances and the rest). The status and the days left are shown in My Subscription → Status.
If you pay for a plan before the trial ends, you keep everything from the Pro plan until the original trial date passes. Only then does the plan you paid for apply.
Trial keys and referral links
A trial key is a code that extends the trial. You redeem it in My Subscription → I have a key: enter the code and the days it grants are added. If you are still trialing, they are added at the end; if it already expired, they count from today.
Some workshops arrive through a referral link (for example, the QR on a card). That link is the signup screen with a code, and when the account is created the extra days apply on their own.
An invalid, expired or disabled code does not block signup: the account is still created with the standard trial.
How payment works
Mercado Pago is the payment method. Go to My Subscription → Manage, pick the plan and how many months (1 month or more).
The summary shows the List price, the Multi-month discount, the Credit from your current plan (when you are moving up) and the Total. The price is final: what you see in the total is what you pay.
- Paying 3 months or more gets a discount; the more months, the bigger the discount (up to 15% for 12 months).
- If you already have a paid plan and move to a higher one, you get credit for the unused time on the current plan.
You tap Pay with Mercado Pago and it takes you to Mercado Pago. When the payment clears, your plan activates on its own, with no one approving it by hand, and you get a confirmation email.
Months stack up
If you renew the same plan, the months are added to your current expiration date: you do not lose a single day.
Renewal, expiry and grace period
A paid plan has an expiration date shown in My Subscription → Status. Five days before, BenchyOps emails you to renew it.
- 1
It expires
When the date arrives, the plan moves to Past due and you keep everything: the workshop keeps running and your data stays. You get an email with the deadline.
- 2
Grace period
You have 7 days from that notice to record the payment without losing the plan.
- 3
You renew
If you pay within that period, everything goes back to how it was.
- 4
You do not renew
If you do not pay, the account drops to the free plan. Nothing is deleted.
The payment is applied automatically when Mercado Pago confirms it; there is no manual approval in between.
What gets locked and what is kept
When the trial ends or you do not renew a paid plan, the account moves to the free plan. The important part: nothing is deleted. You keep customers, quotes, catalog, history and files.
What changes:
- The free plan limits apply (1 printer, 10 filaments, 20 customers, 10 products and 20 MB of files).
- If you have more data than the free plan allows, quoting and everything you loaded keep working: you just cannot add more of that resource until you free up space or move back up. Nothing is deleted.
- The paid plan features (finances, online store, sales channels and appearance) stop being available. The store stops showing and receiving orders.
All of this is reverted as soon as you activate a paid plan again.
Changing plans
From the plan cards in My Subscription → Manage:
- Move up: you pay for the higher plan; you get credit for the unused time on the current one and the cycle starts fresh.
- Renew the same plan: the months are added to your current expiration date, so you lose no days.
- Move down: you change it from the new plan card, with a confirmation. If you have more customers, filaments or printers than the new plan allows, you keep quoting and using everything you loaded: you just cannot add more of that resource until you free up space (nothing is deleted).
To move down while you still have paid time ahead, the change is made from the plan comparison; the payment flow only offers renewing or moving up.
Frequently asked questions
Does the trial include the store?
Yes. The trial is the full Pro plan, so it includes the store, finances and sales channels.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
No: the payment method is Mercado Pago.
What happens if I go over my plan limits?
You keep quoting and using everything you already loaded. The only thing you cannot do is add more of that resource until you move up or free up space. Nothing is deleted. With **printers**, the first ones you added are used: pause the ones you do not use to choose which stay. With **people**, nobody loses access: you just cannot add anyone until you free up space or move up.
How is storage counted?
It is the total files uploaded by your workshop. What you delete takes no space.
Can I go back to the free plan whenever I want?
Yes, you move down from the plan cards, with a confirmation.
